Posture, Clumsiness & Milestones

Some children trip more than their friends, tire quickly, sit in a W or seem to be taking their own time reaching a milestone. Children develop at their own pace, and most of this is entirely normal. Where it is worth a closer look, we assess how your child moves, coordinates and holds themselves.

What parents often notice

How we approach it

We assess how your child moves — balance, coordination, joint movement and the way they load through the spine, hips and feet. Where we find restriction or asymmetry, we use gentle, age-appropriate techniques, and we give you simple things to work on through play at home.

Not everything belongs with a chiropractor. Coordination and milestone concerns can involve vision, hearing, muscle tone or neurological development, and those need the right professional. If that is what we find, we will tell you and help you get to the right person.
