Growing pains
Growing pains typically show up in both legs, in the late afternoon or at night, and settle with rest, warmth or a rub. They do not usually cause a limp, swelling or pain during the day. Where the picture fits, we assess flexibility and movement through the hips, knees and ankles, and give you stretches and routines that help.
Young athletes
Children in sport are still growing, and growth plates, tendons and muscles adapt at different rates. We look at how your child moves, where they are tight or weak, and how their training load is stacking up — then work on the movement patterns that keep them comfortable and playing.
